This past December, I had the honor of shooting with Emma Natter, a genuinely sweet wedding stylist and planner from New York. I adore Emma’s story, and her philosophy on wedding design.

Emma plans intimate-feeling weddings based on her vision for a beautiful life: a series of meaningful journeys full of communal gatherings, joyful merriment, pleasing design, seasonal inspiration, and enlightening conversation. I love her bright, minimal aesthetic…such beauty she creates.

I’m looking forward to many more hours of wonderful conversation and creative connection with this sweet gem, and hope to have the honor of photographing a wedding journey with her as well soon. xo

Emma’s styling hands are a thing of wonder…I adore her styling work and the bits of handmade imperfection she brings to an otherwise perfect palette.

Our model was the incredibly talented ballerina Rachel Richardson of the American Ballet Theatre in New York. This truly beautiful woman is so gifted and poised…her silent strength and willingness to try anything for us was such a rare treat to work with. Despite the freezing, rainy day in Eugene, she was absolutely solid and serene. What a gem!

A huge thank you to the crew at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art on the lovely University of Oregon campus, for opening their doors to us for a rare, private afternoon to photograph in the lovely halls of the museum. What a treat!

This sweet bridal shoot for Ashland Springs Hotel was such a peaceful one to capture… I adored the vintage dressing gown, her platinum cap braid and every inch of the hotel’s garden. Such lovely light, such a wonderful team, and such a pleasure to photograph! xo

These sweet friends, and clients, gave me the distinct honor of capturing their wedding day down in San Diego a few years back. And now, joy of joy, they’ve relocated to Portland! When I got the call to capture their sweet new baby Hudson, up here closer to my neck of the woods, I was truly thrilled! Legacy clients, that I have the joy of capturing from year to year, are genuinely such a treasure to me. Jarad and Jasmine are such sweet, fun people…and the hippest cats I know. 🙂

Their little family shoot up in Portland was such a relaxed, lovely afternoon…I cherish these gems to no end and love watching their sweet little family grow! xo

Seriously…this family!
