Baby Portraits in San Diego, CA

The day finally came…our big 20 week Sonogram at the hospital!!! And, as most of you have already heard, we are having a precious little…

She was sooo busy in the womb during the Sonogram and had us giggling. Then she finally struck THIS (below) jack knifed pose in the end!! LOL My little yogi, already!

We’re soooooooooooo SUPER excited! Baby showers are underway as well as nursery decoration plans and yes…her NAME! Any suggestions? I want to hear them ALL so leave a trillion of them in the comments! FUN! 🙂

As for her nursery, I plan on obviously covering her walls with canvas images of her at EVERY stage of life, but here are some other ideas I like as well…any thoughts? So much to think about…so much to do!

And…I shot another wedding last week which was so indescribably, beautifully epic I’m planning to try and finally use it as my very first SUBMISSION to some fabulous wedding blogs. We’ll see if it get’s picked up! 🙂 Fingers crossed… It just DESERVES that much attention for being such a splendid affair between two amazing people! But alas, in the meantime, I’ll have to refrain from blogging about it until a little later along. But stay tuned! You’ll love all the amazing details…I promise (think Fendi shoes, Kate Spade & Amale couture dresses, bundles of flowers and glowing, streaming sunlight through palm trees!)! Can’t wait to share it with you!

Random thoughts on the blog today…but I’d love your ideas, names and thoughts right back!

  • Jessica Cagle - I like the name Scarlett 🙂

…and I love the paint color “ocean”

  • Jennifer Bucey - Paisley, Sawyer, and Monreau are great girl names!!

  • Justice - So excited for you. If you need any help with the nursery or remodeling, let us know. . . Some names that I like are Madison and Paige. . . I’m keeping ours a secret in case we have a girl

  • Alma - Hi! Congrats on the great this fabulous news!

  • Grandma Sharon - I think Sharon II would be wonderful lol Any name that the two of you chose will be perfect for my little angle. Another doodle bug for me to love. Love Grandma

  • Ali Brooks - I can’t wait to see pictures of her nursery Bets! I love the shabby chic ideas you’ve come up with. Anything vintage and that looks ‘lived and loved’ is so awesome and cozy. I did an all natural room for Audrey. With old bird framed photos’, vintage bird cages and figurines, flowers, with black furniture and crystals. So fun. I love your ideas! As for names, are you thinking of putting in some old heritage from you and Marks family into a middle name? Or first name? I love the names; Charlie; Harlowe; Ava; Lyric; Heaven; Olivia (Liv, Livi..); Taylor…oh I can go on and on. That was thee most difficult process of mine when we found out. I always wanted a Paige, so my first was way easy. Good luck and can’t wait to watch this process through your beautiful inspiring photos Mommas! XO

  • Jeff - YAY! Congrats — sooo cool!

  • Chelsi - Alivia and Taryn are my faves! Congrats again! I love the nursery ideas! Oh, and that wedding? Sounds amazing! Oh wait, it was! 🙂
