It’s been a long time coming, for all of us in different ways, but it’s finally here…the big surprise.
Drumroll puleeease…. bahdah, bahdah, bahdah…
The newest exciting development here at Betsy Blue is OUR NEW NON-PROFIT HORSE RESCUE FOUNDATION!!! Yes, you heard me right…we’re starting up a formal foundation to rescue as many horses as possible from out of the hands of death at auction, abuse after life on the track, and many other dire-needs situations we come across. From there we’ll spend our time working to restore each equine’s body, mind and spirit before finding a new, safe, loving home for each. Two friends of mine, Tricia and Wanda, have already been through the process thrice over and had thought of making a non-profit organization out of it for a while now. Then I came along, with my lifelong dream of doing just that, and we decided it was time.
Soooo…the 3 of us will be heading up to the Norco Auction THIS Saturday, August 1st to hopefully bring home another desperate soul and add to the already phenomenal rescued herd consisting of Cigar, Hemi and Corva!
Both Tricia and I are thrilled to have decided to donate 10% of our profits from our photography businesses into the foundation we’re now calling Cowgirls for a Cause!

Current Day: Hemi & Cigar out on a training ride in Camp Pendleton. Aren't they GORGEOUS now!
