I just got home from a fabulous time at this year’s Fire Run with my girls! The 4-mile race benefits the San Diego Fire-Rescue Foundation and winds around the beautiful stretch of road from La Jolla into downtown Pacific Beach. It was amazingly overcast and cool all morning, which made it seem like a trip around the block. So much so that we decided to forego the long line for the shuttle back to La Jolla and just turn around and head back on our own. 8+ miles of some running, some walking and all laughing, we finally made it back to our cars! It was SUCH a fun time!
