Good news for you Cowgirls for a Cause fans…my partners-in-rescue, Tricia & Wanda, just went to pick up a possible new rescue this morning. Fingers crossed, we’re going to take him for a week to assess his potential and see if his needs are within our budget to care for and repair before we sign on the dotted line to make him our own. Needless to say, we are all VERY EXCITED about our potential new rescue and couldn’t wait to share our giddy-ness with you! Here are a few teeny initial images of his handsomeness…
And yes, those stilts he’s standing on make him 16’2″!!! Such a TALL handsome boy. Now hopefully his track days are over and he’s ready to be retrained to accept all of our spoiling like a good boy!
He DEFINITELY deserves it! I’ll post more when his initial evaluation period is over and we decide whether or not to put his name on his stall door at Tricia’s beautiful Equinox Farms.
For those of you who don’t know about our equine rescue foundation, Cowgirls for a Cause, check out an earlier post, and stay tuned for more details as they develop! And for those of you who keep asking how you can help, we’ll provide information on donations to feed and care soon!
Big horsey hugs from one very excited girl,
B

UPDATE: Here are a few pix after sweet General walked calmly out of the trailer onto blissful Equinox Farms ground. He loaded & trailered like an ACE!
