Not only are these blue-eyed beauties some of our dearest friends, and not only did both my hubs & I go to high school w/ Bryan (circa “I’m not going to tell you”)….but they were also the first people God used to get Mark and I hitched. So to say they’re special to us, is a wee bit of an understatement.

Yet another session I did for this sweet family…back when Paige was the only Little.Love watching their little family grow!

For any of those who are regular blog followers of mine, you’ve seen this ridiculously sweet family many times before. I get giddy when it comes time for their annual family session…seriously GIDDY. LOVE THESE PEEPS!

This year, when I showed up at their house to assist with a “little bit of wardrobe help”, I decided to nudge them out of their comfy jeans & flip flops (another reason we get along so well) and take it up a notch o’country. I *might* have seen a twinkle in Ryan’s eye when I suggested he “bring a gun”…and Kaylee was beside herself knowing we were headed out to see her horse Junior for part of the shoot.

Little did I know that it would take us several hours of closet digging, hair curling, gun choosing (I had NO idea Ryan had a full scale gun museum), shirt swapping and not to mention IRONING by YOURS TRULY (I swear I’m going to tack on a new fee for that one)…before we got out the door. But…in the end, I LOVE what we captured. And it was well worth the Kobe steak dinner they treated me & my whining womb (new way to express the extreme hunger pregnancy gives you) to at the end of the night.Overjoyed to have the pleasure to know, love & photograph this family each & every year…they are SUCH a blessing to me. xo

Kaylee & Bryson have grown up SO fast…such sweet, polite & beautiful kids.

Other than my Mia’s, Shannon’s smile & laugh are some of my VERY favorites to see/hear. Even after I’ve left her, I can still hear her laughing…such honest joy! Love her!

Kaylee has been waiting for some shoot time with Junior for far too long now…and neither she, nor Junior, disappointed. Love these!
